The Alamo

pic of Alamo from double decker bus tour. No pictures are allowed to be taken from inside the Alamo. They keep the mood sacred inside. I took several of the courtyard. The feeling inside the Alamo was so surreal.

trees

this live oak was amazing, cannot remember the year they said it was planted, may have been 1836 or before and been part of the original yard

loved this tree

obviously

looking toward the rooms where the last of the men went to buy more time, the bulk of the men were found in those rooms

loved how thick this arch was, the building of this fort was incredible.

Texas Roadsign

This is the first road sign I saw when I got close to my destination...a little scary!!
If water on road, turn around don't drown

San Antonio Art Museum

I walked up the stairs at the museum and I thought it was cool to look down. The Museum was 5 floors, a different exhibit on each and split into 2 sides so 10 displays. We went up one side all 5 floors then across the sky walk and went down the other side looking at all of those. Such incredible items. Could spend a lot more time there.

I thought Tyson and Destiny would like the dragons on these. They were very detailed. This was in the Asia section

These were miniatures in the Egyptian section, made me think of moms clay figurines.

This was outside one of the windows at the museum and I thought it was awesome.

Beautiful painting
