Day 27 - Post Your Favorite Recipe

Well, my favorite recipes are those that are not mine. Let's see. Probably Roast, or French Dips, which is roast...crock pot and ingredients I can throw in frozen or whatever, and walk away. Those I love. Oh another one is the strawberry cake, that is a great one. Pistacho salad...easy peasy ones

Strawberry Cake

  • One package white cake mix (mix according to directions on box - but bake on large cake sheet pan, only takes 5-8 minutes because it is so thin)
  • Make real whipped cream to taste
  • Mix package of cream cheese with whipped cream
  • Spread on top of cake
  • Slice 2 pounds of strawberries and mix with 2 containers of strawberry glaze, spread on top of cake, be careful not to undo the whipped cream/cream cheese mix
  • Refrigerate
Pistacho Salad
  • 2  boxes of pistacho pudding mix into bowl
  • 2 cans of pineapple with juice (tidbits are best, chunks if you want to pick them out)
  • mix those together until pudding all wet
  • Fold in 2 containers of cool whip, can fold in marshmallows with this if wanted
Roast
  • Throw in favorite roast, best if one that will break up not a slicing one
  • put in carrots, potatoes, onions, celery etc of your choosing
  • put in family size cream of chicken soup and package of lipton onion beefy soup
  • I leave it on high for 4-5 hours, until everything is fall apart soft
French Dips
  • Throw a good non fatty roast into the crockpot with onions and lipton onion beefy soup mix
  • toast your hoagie rolls before or after you put the meat on, if you are adding cheese on top it would be best to roast after
  • Your juice is the au jus
